On Friday the 13th in October of 1972, a group of rugby players board Flight 571 to play a match in Santiago, Chile.

The strong headwinds shift the calculations just enough to turn a typical descent from the clouds into a head-on collision with a mountainous peak.

Once the chocolate bars and wine ran out, the survivors frantically searched for much-needed food. Fortunately there was plenty of meat all around them.

Unfortunately the nutrients keeping them alive was made entirely of Man.
